I am having trouble with build up on my gang rip saws. I an running a 12'' dia. 24 tooth .065 plate, .104 kerf saw at 3400 RPM,75 FPM. There are 29 saws on the arbor ripping 1-1/2'' thick southern yellow pine laminated veneer lumber. The saws are cutting 1-1/2'' wide pieces. The material is up to 68' long, and is hot off the press at approximateley 200 degrees in the cut. I have check all allighnments and everything checks OK. The problem will usually occur on only one saw on the arbor and in random location on the arbor. This is a Mereen Johsnson rip saw with top and bottom bed plates. I think I may be getting material trapped in these plates and rubbing against these saws at random. Does any one have any suggestions on what I should look at ?
