STEPHEN, THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE AND SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK BUT I'VE RELOCATED TO A DIFFERENT MILL. THE PROBLEM WITH THE HORIZONTAL I FIXED .I HAD JUST SHORTEND MY BACK AND THE CRACKS WENT AWAY. BUT YES I AGREE TIRE LINE SHOULD NOT BE SEEN WITH GAGE BEING USED.THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY AND IM ACTUALY USING THE OIL AIR MIXTER THAT YOU TOLD ME ABOUT NOW .THANK YOU!IM NOW AT LINDEN LUMBER CO. what the problem is, we can not keep a saw running for very long.we run a 20 1/2 " saw 30 tooth 140 kerf stillite tips alt top 10 degree 10 degree bevel two saw conv.cut. the saws will move from a 5/4 to 1" to 2" tosplitting a 3 1/2"side board.we used to not have any trouble at all.but now we can not keep a saw running in it.any sujustions out there?
