HOWDY STEVE, WE CURRENTLY HAVE A 5 FT. QUAD CHIP-N-SAW ALSO WITH OVERHUNG WHEEL'S. WE PREVIUOSLY TRIED TO RUN FLAT WHEELS AND ALSO HAD TRACKING PROBLEM'S EXSPECIALLY WHEN WE RUN WATER ON BANDS. WE SINCE WENT TO RUNNING AN OIL PRODUCT CALLED OMICRON MADE BY MOBILE. WE ALSO RE-GROUND OUR WHEEL'S SO THAT THE FRONT IS .006 TO .010 BIGGER THAN THE BACK OF THE WHEEL. WE ALWAY'S ENCOUNTER A LITTLE CROWN JUST FROM GRINDING WHEEL WEAR. RUNNING OIL INSTEAD OF WATER WILL DRAMASTICALLY CUT DOWN ON BANDSAW WHEEL WEAR THUS KEEPING FRONT EDGE OF WHEEL A LITTLE BIGGER THAN BACK. THIS SOLUTION HAS WORKED WELL FOR OUR MILL AND HAVE HAD NO MORE TRACKING PROBLEM'S EVEN WHEN WE RUN ALOT OF WATER IN STRAIGHT TAMERACK OR PITCHY RED FIR. WELL HOPE THIS HELPS. TAKE CARE
