Does anyone out there have any experiance with 5, 4, and 3 tooth patterns in VPVD saws. What I want to know is wheather the number of teeth in the pattern makes any differance in the saw performance. Or is the problem just in the pitch of the current pattern. We started out 1.5 years ago with a five tooth patern. I still have a little bit of washboarding with most of my saws. We run a 63" resaw using 16 gauge and some 15 gauge 10" wide bands. The largest tooth in the pattern is 2.18 and the smallest is 1.75. Would moving a larger pitch tooth to a position in between the two smallest teeth help or make things worse? I want to try something different but am not sure what. Help
