I wonder if anyone can help me find the source of an anoying problem. My saws are growling in deeper cuts. It is almost like the saw is chattering. It seems to be worse the harder the wood. We run a 5 tooth vpvd 16 gauge saw and a 5 tooth vpvd 15 gauge saw. Both saws have the same tooth pattern and both a growling. The lumber thickness is not being affected but I am sure that the kerf is. Also we side grind on an Armstrong side pro. I would like to hear from someone who has had this problem and solved it.
