At our mill, we use a MIG wire welder to repair the damaged tooth/shoulder area of the circular saws. You don't have to be that good with the MIG welder, just somewhat form the tooth shape with weld, and then using an abrasive pad on a circular angle grinder, remove the glob of weld, working the grinder in a way to reshape the tooth as close as possible to the original shape. Before re-tipping the welded tooth, it is a good idea to use an Oxy/Acetylene torch to temper the weld-repaired shoulder to help prevent chill line cracking in the future.
